Once extracted, copper and cobalt ores are transported to smelting facilities in Kambove and Likasi, where they are refined into high-grade copper cathodes for global distribution.
Through established industrial arrangements, we have the capacity to process over 150,000 metric tons of copper cathodes per month, ensuring consistent supply to international markets.
We implement a robust mineral traceability program to ensure full visibility of origin and to prevent the financing of conflict-related activities. We do not source minerals from conflict-prone regions or non-registered cooperatives.
Our largest mining operations utilize efficient open-pit methods, prioritizing safety while reducing environmental risks. Where extraction is no longer viable, land reclamation practices are implemented to restore affected areas.
